Reginald Rothchild[1] is the Head Scribe of the Brotherhood of Steel in 2277.
[edit] Background
A close and trusted adviser to Elder Owyn Lyons, he is one of the few Brotherhood of Steel members who originally accompanied him on his trek across the continent to Washington, DC. He supports Lyons even if he does not necessarily agree with the Elder's views.
Rothchild is also the one in charge of the ongoing efforts to get Liberty Prime operational and publishes regular status reports which can be found at nearly every terminal in the Citadel. Nonetheless, there is no real progress made until Dr. Li joins up with him after her escape from Jefferson Memorial.
[edit] Daily schedule
He can usually be found in the Citadel's labs.

[edit] Quests
[edit] Inventory
- Rothchild makes a mention to the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel, saying that they have fallen on hard times.
- He might taunt the Lone Wanderer in repairing his/her gear, as asking him will yield the answer, "Could I? Yes. Will I? No. Ask Bowditch."
[edit] Appearances
Reginald Rothchild appears only in Fallout 3.
- Xbox 360
Since he is a "good character" who is essential, every time he is rendered unconscious, an ear is placed in his inventory. This makes him an infinite source of ears.
- Rothchild can get stuck, making the main quest line impossible to continue. A solution to this problem is to find Vault 87 yourself. A solution to this is(if he is stuck near the footlocker near the bed at the lab) that you can become hidden and throw grenades to move him, unsticking him.
